So, how does it work? Let us answer the common questions.

What do we offer?

UK Cars Direct offers three options:

• Coming Soon (In transit from the UK & awaiting VRT inspection)
• Buy now
• Auction

Each section offers an easy overview of the vehicles that are - or soon will be - available to you within 4 working days of payment being made. 

Our service enables you to view your bids, your invoices, your pinned favourite vehicles, and your overall account with us.

What are the advantages of using UK Cars Direct? 

Buying with us makes life simpler for your dealership. How? We ensure there is:

• No hidden costs. What you see is what you get. Just add your VRT and away you go.
• No additional paperwork or customs declaration fees. We take care of the boring but important paperwork, so you don’t have to.
• No Brexit bureaucracy. The way of the world has changed under Brexit guidelines, but we remove the pain points and provide you with exactly what you want - the car!
• No additional UK transport costs. Our vehicles are already in Ireland so there will be no hidden transport fees. 
• No 10% Customs duty needed. Our price will always include these additional duties where applicable.
• No UK VAT. 
• Your final invoice will include the Irish VAT at 23%. Our prices shown on the platform, are VRT exclusive.

What will UK Cars Direct ensure for the vehicles?

UK Cars Direct go the extra mile to remove the long-winded and often boring-but-necessary obligations when buying from the UK. We will make sure:

• All vehicles have been Pre-VRT inspected by Irish Revenue and have their VRT declarations attached with the exact VRT costs to each individual car. 
• All vehicles arrive directly to your door for just an additional €185+VAT within 5 working days of receipt of funds purchased. Please note, vehicles can’t be collected. 
• You do not have to arrange any onward Transport as we will deliver to any dealership throughout Ireland it's all arranged for you. 

What else does UK Cars Direct offer?

UK Cars Direct can register the vehicle for you within minutes of you finalising your New Customer Details and transferring the VRT costs to UK Cars Direct for a fee of €90.00 + 23% VAT

Our Coming Soon Cars section shows you vehicles that are currently awaiting VRT Inspections. 

If you like what you see, you can add the vehicle to your favorites so that you can track the vehicle and be prepared to purchase for when the vehicle moves from the Coming Soon Cars section to the Buy Now Cars section. 

When it comes to Buy Now Cars it couldn’t be simpler. What you see is what you pay. Avoid missing out on the car at the last minute and purchase the vehicle without going to auction. All Prices excludes VRT costs. You can view the pre-inspected VRT certs, which you will find under documents. If the vehile has not been pre-inspected we will give you an estimation for the VRT.

Do you like the thrill of chasing an amazing bargain? Our Auction Cars give you the chance to place a bid and hope for a successful outcome.  Once the countdown clock has hit 0.00 the highest bidder will be the successful purchaser providing the vehicle has reached its reserve price. 

The successful bidder will receive a confirmation email along with an invoice and will receive the vehicle within 5 working days of confirmed payment. 

Is there anything else to note?

As mentioned, it really couldn’t be much quicker. Once we have receipt of funds, the vehicle will be delivered directly to your door.

There will be an additional Nationwide Transportation Cost of €185+VAT per vehicle on all vehicles purchased from UK Cars Direct.

You the Dealer can also Register the Vehicle through your own VRT TAN Deposit Account with the VRT Declaration providing you have a Tan deposit account set up on Ros along with the Customs declaration which we will provide with every individual vehicle purchased from the platform.
